| Set in the far future, the story concentrates on one woman who comes up against an alien creature that has emmence strength and capability that must be stopped.
The alien is eight foot tall with two mouths and a long tail. It's blood is unlike any other living creature in that it is acid. The story had originally been designed to cast the character as a man but had changed that at the last moment.
It was created as a result of the Star Wars phenomena that was sweeping across the world. Unlike Star Wars, these series of films were strictly for the adults. A lot of people feel it lost the way after the second film, just how far can you push a francise.
There had been a lot of talk and discussion about a 'Alien vs. Predator' film but because of costs, it was put back. When it finally came out, a lot of fans of the franchise were extremely disappointed. They had been hoping that the series would be set in
the same time and location as the comic and games had been set, ie in space not on Earth.
The scene where the animal first makes an appearance after emerging from Kanes stomach, all the cast except Kane and the director knew it was going too happen. The scene was improvised and it worked. Rumours of Alien 5 are abound. The fifth alien film will be
set before the events of the first Alien. The storyline could well be able the finding of the Alien homeworld, picking up the eggs and everyone being killed. Not a very happy ending. |
